I can’t believe 2018 is almost over. And what a year it’s been for Shule and our kids!

Thank you for playing a big part in changing the lives of so many children who otherwise would be forgotten.

This year, your support has helped us:

– Maintain our programs at our skills training center in Kisneyi Slum, along with our outreaches in Mbale, making a difference in the lives of hundreds of kids.

– Offer children living on the streets a safe place to go to enjoy two hot meals, bathe, wash their clothes, attend catch-up classes in English and math, participate in counseling and skills training workshops, play games, watch movies, receive medical care, and so much more, three days each week in Kampala. 

– Conduct events in Mbale, so children living on the streets could receive a hot meal, take a shower, get a haircut, be HIV tested, seek medical treatment, play games, dance and just have fun.

AND your generosity helped cover the cost of school fees and requirements for 26 children, all of whom completed their first full year back in the classroom – with the majority graduating in the top 20 percent of their class!

None of this would have been possible if it was not for you caring enough to take the time to make a donation.       

As the year comes to a close, I hope you’ll consider making a year-end gift to the Shule Foundation and our Watoto Mtaani program (meaning “street kids” in Swahili) so that we may continue our work – moving children off the streets and into the classroom.
